We are two architects, based in Putignano. We have always worked together and we love our work. Recently we started working with an English landscape architect. Together we like to follow our clients step-by-step in order to fully understand their preferences. Our activities are strongly connected with the materials and colours of Puglia: we are both experts in the restoration of trulli and Masserie and in the design of new buildings that blend in with their surroundings. Our excellent English language skills make has provided us with considerable work with English-speaking clients.
Lisa Polignano is Senior Architect and studied at the universities of Bari, Pescara and Perugia, she works on restoration projects for over 15 years.
Gabriella Bianco studied at the university of Bari , she specialized in 3d graphic

We handle all types of residential buildings: private houses, holiday homes, outdoor spaces, accommodation facilities and B&Bs. Our designs are a fusion of modern lines and natural materials, sensitivity towards traditional architecture and functionality, innovative building techniques and respect for our local tradition. We work side-by-side with our clients at every step from the start right to the end, designing creative solutions to satisfy their needs and preferences. Graphic design software, such as Revit, Sketch Up and V-ray are fundamental in helping us to create 3D visual renders that will allow the viewer to understand the project better from every angle, whether it be for interiors or garden design.
We aim to promote sustainable projects, we design building with efficient shells that can cope with cold winters, but also the Mediterranean summer. Builidng in our southern Italian climate need to have not only a high level of insulation, but also a good thermal mass. This thermal mass is the main characteristic that enables our traditional stone buildings to stay cool in the summer by providing "inertia" against temperature fluctuations. In addition it is fundamental to provide good shading and allow for natural ventilation. In order to understand the principles of physics and keep ourselves up-to-date with new techniques, we took a course and recently qualified as certified Casaclima Energy consultant. Casaclima is an Agency which specializes in energy and environmental issues. Established in the Bolzano region of northern Italy, it has become a reference model for the whole of Italy.
We consider this to be an important step and intend to maintain our up-to-date knowledge of emerging technology through ongoing educational activities and professional literature.We are two architects, based in Putignano.
