This new building in ctr. Bosco Selva-Alberobello is a small house with a garage. The landscape in this area is very sensitive and the new built had to respect the character of the surroundings with its typical buildings. The design is clean made of simple volumes and traditional materials. The building is made of two volumes with different proportions and materials. The front volume, facing south, is in stone and has two large windows on the terrace. The other volume, the one of the garage, is solid with small openings and rendered in white. The North elevation, on the back of the house has another terrace with access from the kitchen, this terrace stays always in shade and can be used in the hot summer days. The building is a Mediterranean house that merges with the landscape. The owners intend to realize a small plunge pool in the garden to cool off and enjoy the sun in summer.
