This small group of trulli is in Bosco Selva - Alberobello . The owners were looking for a trullo at a walking distance from town, were to spend their free time. They found a nice little trullo and fit in a minimal space all possible comforts. Twenty square meters to realize a kitchen/living room with a dining area, a lounge area with a central stove and a bathroom with wide shower. Two small bedrooms are in the new built extension. The project has a very wise design that use all the spaces and optimize the internal flow concept. The kitchen area furniture is specifically design on the available space such as the table with the benches and the built in wardrobe in the main bedroom. The bathroom is a flexible space that can change on the base of use. The restoration work were made by a “ trullaro” an expert stone craftsmen , able to rebuilt the cones keeping the original shape and the traditional manufacture of the “chiancarelle” (thin stone slabs). The owners preferred to see the white of the bare stone both in the interiors and exteriors of the trulli, the floor is in stone too. All the stones are sandblasted and pointed with lime. The extension is on a lower floor level, this gap of about a meter allowed not to overshadow the existing trulli. Even if partially in ground the new built is very light and comfortable.
